Good news!! We are having a GATHERING!! The Delmarva Walk to Emmaus and Chrysalis community is invited to gather at the Pecometh Retreat Center on Saturday, October 9th from 12-3PM for a time of fellowship and praise. We know that folks are aching to get back together and hope that many, many of you will be able to attend. This will be an outdoor gathering, so pray for good weather! We will meet on the back lawn of the Retreat Center and enjoy those beautiful grounds.
Please spread the word throughout the Emmaus and Chrysalis community. Prospective pilgrims and butterflies are also invited to attend, so we ask that the sponsor for our postponed weekends reach out to their pilgrims and bring them along.
Here are the details:
- Bring a chair
- Bring your own lunch. Beverages will be provided.
- Bring your songbook and worshipbook if you have them.
- Wear your nametag!!!
- We will only go into the Retreat Center for use of the restrooms. Please note that a mask is required to enter that building.
Finally, we are immensely blessed to have Pecometh as our place of retreat for both the Emmaus and Chrysalis weekends. As you can imagine, Pecometh has struggled quite a bit with the impact of the virus on camper registrations and the cancelation of retreats like ours for the past 18 months. We will be taking a collection for Pecometh during our gathering, and I encourage you to pray about how you can help to support this important ministry. Through our gifts, we can help to take some of the pressure off of their operations in this current time and also keep quality programs affordable for all campers.
