Merry Christmas

I have always loved Christmas. In my early years, I probably loved it mostly because of its ā€œambianceā€: decorations, wrapped presents to get excited about, etc. And I also loved it because my Mom & Dad obviously enjoyed loving me that way, by creating that special time for me to enjoy.

And now, things have evolved; I play Mom & Dadā€™s role. I love creating special and wonderful times and memories for the people I love.
Itā€™s not a perfect parallel, I know. But the Walk to Emmaus was like that for me.

I have a lot of memories from my Walk (Iā€™m Paul Busch, Walk 27, Matthew Table, I worship at RiverCross Fellowship). But my most vivid memory is walking into Candlelight, and seeing the smiling face of a woman, who I did not know, who was soooo excited that we pilgrims were being blessed. She, and so many others, serving us in such a loving way, illustrating Godā€™s Grace and love by their actionsā€¦ā€¦ Passing on what they had received; the love of Jesus.

For me, personally, my Walk weekend was like years of learning about: Jesusā€™ love for me, what He desires for me, and what He asks of me. I pray that you and yours are blessed in this season to remember and experience Jesus.

And I pray that you will consider sponsoring someone to experience Jesusā€™ love on the Walk to Emmaus.

DeColores and may you and yours have a blessed and joyful Christmas!
