Fall 2020 Weekends Postponed

Dear Emmaus and Chrysalis friends,

Thank you for your prayers as we have been considering plans for the fall weekends. At this point, we believe it is necessary to postpone these weekends until the spring but still ask for your continued prayer…

Pray for the team members and for the pilgrims who had initially planned to attend in the fall and who will be called to attend in the spring. Pray for the Weekend Lay Directors who have faithfully developed and led their teams through this time of extended uncertainty.

Pray for the safety and health of our Emmaus and Chrysalis community members and the families they represent. Pray for the local churches of our community – that they remain both physically and spiritually healthy and that they can find safe ways to re-engage their ministries and be disciples in a changing world. Pray for your Emmaus and Chrysalis boards, our international leadership, and the Emmaus and Chrysalis communities around the world.

Pray for all leaders (church, government, local, state, national, world). Pray for all who are working to bring us through this crisis and those who are finding new ways to support the needs of our daily lives. Pray for those who are faced with the challenges of providing education, finding work, and balancing all of this as the summer comes to an end.

Pray for those who are working to develop new medications and vaccines for the virus. Pray for a decrease in infection rate, particularly as communities begin to reopen throughout the country.

Pray.

Our hearts are warmed by your participation with the Prayer List on the website. If you have not yet signed up for a slot, there is still time. Go to: http://www.flywithchrist.org/prayer_list/womens-walk-and-mens-vigil-for-fall-2020/.

We look forward to the time when we will be able to come together again in person as the Body of Christ to celebrate a joyous reunion! Until that time, may we remain connected in the Spirit. Be safe. Love each other. Take Care.

DeColores,
