Serving

Servanthood

That’s what makes Emmaus and Chrysalis weekends so powerful (that and the Holy Spirit, of course!)
We are called to be the body of Christ – his hands and feet.

Conference Room Teams dedicate themselves to nine weeks immersed in the Emmaus/Chrysalis method: planning, practicing songs, rehearsing talks, praying. Then comes the weekend, and God calls the pilgrims to have encounters with the Living Christ. The pilgrims stroll arm in arm with Jesus along the Emmaus Road.  It is beautiful. It is life changing. You know… because you have been there!

While being a team member is one way to serve, there are many additional opportunities. Write Agape. Attend Candlelight. Attend Closing. Sign up for an hour on the Prayer Butterfly. Come to the chapel at Pecometh and pray during one of the talks. Help serve the Agape meal. On Sunday at noon, come to Pecometh to help pack up all the gear. You could get your whole reunion group involved! A group is needed to transport luggage to the closing church. Help the Assistant Lay Directors and the facilities in the same condition in which we found them(we need to be good stewards of the facility AND the people) and arrive at closing in time for the celebration.

To help, please contact our Agape coordinator here >> click to send an email!

Thanks and De Colores!
